Slump. I still have it. ARGHARGHARGHFUCKME

Well. I'll get the story done tonight, but argharghargh. I was hoping to have it finished earlier.

On a more positive note, I finished Life of Pi last night. It was a good read. Not the best novel I've ever read, but enjoyable nonetheless. I'll probably move on to something else tonight, after I finish the story.

I spent most of this afternoon crawling over rocks by the river in the heat. Whew. But I got lots of graffiti photographs, including some shots of the mysterious Swedish flag.

I don't really have anything else to say. Today has been very very very blah. Sob.

You know what you should do?

Knit something.

I don't know. I assume if it's your first time, it will only be an awkward square. Perhaps a rectangle.

Ooooh, what kind of fic?

Oh okay. You're one step above me on the knitting side. I'm a failure of a female.

STOP TALKING AND WRITE.

I can't knit either. In 4th grade we had to knit like, squares for a quilt. MY SQUARE WAS THE ONLY SQUARE THAT DIDN'T MAKE IT ON THE FINISHED QUILT.

Wriiiiiiiite, you. Yuu. Whatever. (I am pretty impressed by your ability to write on a deadline--my 'oh hey let's do a 20th anniversary fall of communism' fic probably won't be finished until the 21st anniversary, sob)

How's Latvia treating you?

You enjoy reading the life of Pi? I remembered disliking the book.

GOGOGOGOGOGO~ I think you know already how much I want to read this, but it bears repeating: I REALLY WANT TO READ THIS.

Agh, I always freeze up when I have a deadline to work with and my writing comes out all stilted and gross. Sometimes the pressure helps, though! (this fucking fic, argh. It started as dialogue exercises and then something happened and it wants to be LONG now and alksdjfffffff idk anymore)

Good to hear that--practice makes perfect, perhaps? Although I'd totally understand if you didn't want to put yourself through writing Latvia again.

I guess so since it's a best seller but everyone I knows hates it. So I was actually quite surprised that you enjoyed it. Which parts did you not like?
