I'm sitting in the Calgary airport right now. MAN I really need to get my battery fixed - it's a pain in the ass having to plug in all the time. Kind of defeats the point of having a laptop.

Anyway, in a couple of hours I'll be catching a flight back to Saskatoon. THANK THE GODS. I am so sick of my parents. Finally I'll have some time to myself and some space to breathe. When I get back, I'll start working on my entry about Waterton Lakes - and it'll have the photos to go along with it, hell yeah!

Hopefully when I'm back I'll be able to (finally) get some writing done as well. I thought I'd be able to do something when I was in Fort Mac, but I forgot how stifling being around my mother can be. I need to write letters to several people, and finish up all those small fics that I have floating around. Then I need to get my ass in gear and write something for August 23rd - that was the date that the Baltic Way took place, back in 1989. I really really want to write something relating to that - and it has to be done in time. Ach, I have less than a month... Oh, well.

On an unrelated note, I've been RPing recently - quite a bit in the last two days. It's been fun. ♥ I'm still not quite comfortable doing it on the meme. But I did it a little bit here in my journal, and I think I'm more comfortable that way. Considering I'm used to private or semi-private RP, this makes perfect sense.

And now I remember, I need to update my threadlogs. Bah. Will do that later....

Haha, true. But I could never forget about the Baltics - especially not Estonia. He is my favourite, ahhhh, I love him so much. (I need to write more with him soon, not sure what, maybe with Finland or another thing with Poland or maybe even Sweden, asdlkfj I have so many ideas)

I love that this comic brings people together. I just wish that I could travel more easily. It's so far, and so expensive. But some day I will do it.

Anyway. I received your package yesterday and I LOVE IT AHHHHHHH OMG. I was seriously seriously squeeing happily for a very long time. I love you so much my dear! ♥

ahaha, I told you that if you'll come to Europe, you can feel invited to Warsaw - best thing in Poland is I live right in the middle of continent so it's easy to go to other places XD;

YESS Finno-Ugric love -- I am a little surprised there is not more stuff with these three. It's hard to find. Maybe I will write some (some day). But first I'll have to figure out how to write Hungary, hah - haven't tried that yet. Anyway - I will keep writing Estonia, most certainly! I'm actually working on two short things right now, but I have been very slow because I'm in a slump.

Eee~ I do hope that I can go some day, and meet you. I would love to, ahhh! (But then again, I want to go everywhere, and meet everyone. Fff, I had better start working on earning millions of dollars...)

I was not worried about the mail, because I haven't had any problems receiving packages here, from Europe or otherwise. However, I will say, there was some confusion at the post office, with the address - the way you write 1 looks like the way many North Americans write 7, so there was uncertainty with the address (fortunately there is no house at the location with 7, so they figured it out). I remember now that I have encountered this confusion when receiving other mail from Poland (can't remember if with other parts of Europe too, or not). I think perhaps next time, to ensure there is no confusion, it might be best to print out the address and tape it onto the envelope. (I usually do that, but it is because my writing is hard for people to read)
