WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS

llkasjdkf this sort of thing is rather unfamiliar and I'm quite disturbed. Uhhhh well, at least this building has a basement? ;~; Though realistically speaking I doubt I need to be too worried. I'm going to go out and about to the Roastery as normal, get some ficcing done... but even though I know I don't really have to worry too much, I'm still a little scared. Bloody subconscious stuff.

Anyway! Not much of note happened yesterday. Worked on some fic, did some other things. Found out precisely what date a certain person will be visiting me, and booked tickets for Shakespeare. ♥ We're going to see A Midsummer Night's Dream. Excellent! I'm so excited.

I smell like almond frosting. I've been using the Snowcake soap by Lush that I've been hoarding in the fridge for months. Unfortunately when this block is finished, it'll all be gone, 'cause it's a Christmas-only edition. WOE IS ME. Mmmm but I have lots of other delicious soap in my fridge so it's all good. I must admit, I've become very partial to the Lily Savon, even though I normally don't like flowery scents. It's just so nice and lasts so long. (Man, I haven't babbled about Lush stuff in a while; this is odd~)

Is there a benefit to keeping soap in the fridge? Or did I just misinterpret something...

Also, stay safe. My city, and a couple neighbouring ones, just got included in a tornado watch as well, but it looks like it's clearing up. The warnings come up as often as the ice cream trucks these days. I kind of give Nature an "OH U" by now.

The soap I use has natural/fresh ingredients and few/no preservatives in it, and for this reason there's the possibility that it might melt or go bad before I get the chance to use it. That's why I keep it in the fridge. (Also I have more storage in my fridge than in my bathroom cabinet, but that's neither here nor there)

I just checked the site again and we're no longer on tornado watch, so it looks like that cleared up. Being from Fort Mac, I'm not exactly used to this kind of thing, so I must admit I was kind of creeped, and I'm glad we're not on watch any more. Right now it's just pissing down rain, AGAIN.

Yeah, we do get them, but not frequently. Middle/Southern Alberta was under tornado warning too. Very unusual.

Why did I read "Toronto watch" and still make a "D:" face?

May I briefly Lush gush with you? I buy them during layovers Toronto and I totally loaded up during the boxing day specials. Yes, I was stuck flying back on the day after Christmas, don't ask. They way they say who the soaps are handmade by in the gift bundles makes my heart melt a little. &hearts

asjdfkdf boxing day specials, oh man. I WISH I could have gotten in on that, but my hometown does not have a Lush. Fortunately for me there's one in Saskatoon. Gahhh, I love their stuff SO MUCH. Well, okay, not all of it, but a lot of it.

I normally don't buy bath stuff, but Lush converted me. I feel I'm getting my money's worth when I to splurge on their soaps and bath bombs, unlike most everywhere else. Plus, none of those nasty perfumes that get my skin all itchy.
