Anonymous commenting is on and IP logging is off. (This goes for the rest of my journal too). If you have something you want to say to me that's unrelated to other posts in my journal, this is the place for it. I love talking to people, so just comment away!
Note: My journal has a permanent "reverse friends-cut" policy. If you find yourself tired of reading my daily nonsense, just remove - no worries!

Date: 2017-01-07 06:14 pm (UTC)LJ had a lot of problems in the last two weeks. I wasn't able to login every now and then, got logged out for no reason and couldn't commented. And now a lot of people come here too just in case something is going to happen to LJ.
So far I try to get used to this site but what I have discovered until now is really awesome. So many active writing communities *-*
Do you know how I can make just one post visible for everyone ? I wanted to make a friending post here without making my whole journal public. I have imported my LJ as friendsonly and setted all new entries to access list. If I make one post and then switch back the posting option would that work ? I was also thinking of making future story posts visible for everyone.
That is what I liked about LJ that you can choose for every entry how you want to post it.

Date: 2017-01-07 06:24 pm (UTC)Since you have it to Access List by default, that is what it'll show by default, so to make it public you just switch the entry's options to "Everyone (Public)". And then do the same thing with any new entries that you create and want to be public as well.

Date: 2017-01-08 05:23 pm (UTC)That is a reason why I stopped using tumblr for personal posts and always direct people to my livejournal or now dreamwidth if they have an account there. I just don't feel comfortable with having everything open for everyone (at least directly because nothing stays unseen on the internet)
I will look at the settings tomorrow when I have finally a few free days from work. What I am really looking for is finally having some time to write. I am planning so much for this year.
I am finally working on an original story whose idea is already a few years old.
I guess afte a week of talking about it on lj and crossposted here it is finally time to introduce it a bit more and give away a few details.
So far I have realized that it helps me to post about my daily word count and even if it is just for me. I tend to say "Oh well you so little time go and do something else" when in reality I wish I would sit down and writer .__.
