This is getting far too ridiculous. Sleeping in as long as I have been recently is not okay. I tried to just run with it, thinking that it would fix itself, but it has not. Hmph. I used to be able to sleep at the drop of a hat. What the hell is wrong with me? Ahh.

Well, I'll try again tonight. Each night is a new night, right? We'll see. I think maybe I'll try having a bath and then go read afterward. Maybe some Ibsen, or one of my comic books. Agh, but this is so frustrating. I want to sleep.

I'm kind of annoyed that I can't find any decent candle sticks. I've considered burning candles at night to save on electricity a bit. I love tapers, but it's a total pain in the ass to find candlesticks for them. Very annoying. Then again, maybe I should go with lanterns instead, considering having an open flame in a building nearly 100 years old probably isn't a good idea.

Nngh, I feel so slow lately. What on earth is wrong with me, I don't even know. Mm, I think I need some fresh air or something. Yes, that would do it. Fresh air, and regular sleeping patterns.

And you're a sweetie pie. Together, we're like a mess left at the wake of a five year old girl's party. 8|b

GOOD LUCK. If you have any allergy medicine like Benadryl or sth, that may help, too. That's what I'm trying tonight. o7 Yay for the fight against insomnia.

Ew, I know what you mean. I like sleeping in and all, but sleeping until like four in the afternoon doesn't leave me with a lot of time to DO stuff.

I totally know what you mean by feeling slow though. I'm pretty sure it's the thrown-off sleep pattern :[

I'm sorry you're having trouble sleeping! :(

I've seen some great candlesticks at Value Village. They always have candlesticks.

Hmmmm... I don't know that advice from a fellow insomniac is all that helpful, but what about calming music? I found out the Sigur Ros albums you sent me can get me pretty drowsy sometimes. There's also just those background noise tracks, like jungle sounds or water streams. Maybe I'm just weird, but I find the jungle noises soothing...

I don't know really. =\ If I find a miracle method, I'll let you know~ *huggles*

.........you want me to send some pretty, Swedish stuff? You could stare at it until you pass out from awesomeness.

AND SLEEPING PATTERNS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE MESSED UP DURING SUMMER HOLIDAYS >:((

Like [livejournal.com profile] sabrtooth said, nature sounds are helpful. Personally, I like listening to wwaves, they calm me down.
And I read once in a book by Stephen King that electric appliances send out some kind of waves which can disturb the sleep. I have no idea if it's true, but you could try turning everything in your bedroom off.

I hope you find something that helps~.

I should spell check before I post.
Well, if it helps, it's not important what kind of music it is, right?

It was Skeleton Crew. "The Ballad of the Flexible Bullet", to be exact. I love the whole novel even though "The Monkey" still makes me feel nervous. ''orz (Don't tell me you like Stephen King - because that would make you so very awesome. ♥)

I'm glad to hear that. Hopefully, you catch some more tonight!

Hmmm...I had insomnia for a bit...I used to take walks in the park in the afternoon, even for two hours, then after a long bath when I came home I was so tired that I immediatly fell asleep!
