Righto, so. Today has been uneventful thus far, but I've only been awake for a very short time, so it's a little bit early to say.
Have lots of things I need to get done today. Blaaaaah. Such is life.
My mother has called five times in the past two days. :| This is a little bit ridiculous, I think. Oh, mum. *facedesk* Lady needs to learn to cut the cord, I think.
I spent a huge chunk of yesterday watching Eurovision online while commenting in chat with a bunch of friends. Pffff so much fun. I'm kind of disappointed Estonia didn't win, though. AND NO this is not my bias talking, their entry really was totally ace. Lucky Norway, though, winning just in time for their national holiday, ah~
Derp, I keep trying to write this entry, but something always distracts me. Anyway! Today is going to be a little bit busy, but I look forward to it. Life is busy. Such is life~
On another note, I've fallen almost completely in love with
artisa_bang. She needs to stop being so cool, else I'll pass the point of no return, and then where will I be? Gasp~
Hetalia/Fanfiction related stuff:
The final edit of the Can/Nor fic "L'anse Aux Memory" is up now; located here. That entry also contains the companion poem "Stars and a Bottle".
Aaaand the Baltic Index is now up to date.
I have been roped into writing Est/Fin post-Eurovision fic. Pfffffff how does this happen. Wait, I know - good lord, I should always remember: Never say "I want to write this" on the anon meme, because then people will say "DO IT". ... But I don't mind, because it's Est/Fin, and like, if I want to see it I have to do it myself. Bah humbug.
I've also caved and made myself an RP account to use when screwing around on the anon meme. :| I'm such a trendwhore. Gehhhhh. *facedesk*

Date: 2009-05-17 07:01 pm (UTC)Thanks to Hetalia I watched Eurovision for the first time in years, Finland gave Estonia 12 points, so cute! My mom was like "you keep talking so much about that comic, I think I need to start reading it myself" because of my reactions to the different songs.
You like Under Byen! Why are you so awesome?
La la la, I cannot spell nor write coherently
Date: 2009-05-17 07:07 pm (UTC)Hmmm~ If you must flee to somewhere, flee to Canada~! Then we can hang out! (Pff, as if. Ah, wishful thinking!)
This was my first time watching Eurovision - in Canada there really isn't much exposure to it at all, of course. I must admit, I squee'd when I found out about Finland giving Estonia so many points~ Clearly I am a nerd of the highest order.
!!! You like Under Byen too? OH MY GOD. I don't know many people who have even heard of them. Never mind why I'm so awesome, why are you so awesome?!

Date: 2009-05-17 07:17 pm (UTC)When I get rich I'll travel to Canada, I'm guessing it won't be too warm there either (I got a heat stroke in Denmark *fail*), but until then I'll have to keep to places I (that would be my family) can drive to.
Can't we agree we're both awesome?
I cannot write coherent sentences without coffee.
Date: 2009-05-17 07:27 pm (UTC)Pffff if I get rich I want to go to Norway (well, I want to go everywhere, but Norwayyyyyy is so pretty) - clearly we need to like, trade or something. Temporarily.
If you go to Canada, be sure not to do it in the middle of summer - it tends to be quite hot, and if you go to Ontario or the Atlantic regions it is humid too, yuck. Autumn is the best time, because it's not too warm, and the snow hasn't started to fall yet, and if you are in the eastern regions the maples are all pretty and red! (They don't grow out west, unfortunately for me)
Okay fine, you win. We're both totally awesome. ♥
I haven't spotted any of these mistakes you keep comlaining about O_o
Date: 2009-05-17 07:38 pm (UTC)Autumn is my favorite time of the year and I love maples, next to the weeping willow it's my favorite tree, now I really want to go to Canada!
