Orality was pretty good! It was mostly recap, which is great because it didn't require any prep. We got to ask questions about things we were confused about.

The final exam (9am Apr 14) is closed book, but we can bring a list of the works to jog our memories. We're allowed 2.5 hours: 2 hours to write, half an hour to read a text we haven't seen before—Gingell's thinking about a 3 page (but small print) piece of prose. Part A of exam is to compare this new text to texts we have studied. Part B is essay question. We're responsible for everything we've ever been assigned to read in class.

The job issue is, I can't get a job until school is done. That'll be a couple more weeks. Right now I'm just so sick of academia, it's ridiculous. I don't want to do this any more. I want to go back to my grocery store job; I want to haul boxes and stock shelves. I want to have time to think, relax, and do nice things like going for a walk without thinking I should be spending that time on homework instead.

One more semester. One more semester! Then I'm done with this. No more school for me. No more.
