Yes, Summerdays
Mar. 27th, 2009 09:03 pmOh my gods, you guys. At 7 PM, it was STILL LIGHT OUT.
Yes, yes indeed, this is cause for celebration. It means spring will be here soon!
Something strange just happened. I am in the cafe, right? And some guy came up to me and said, "Hey, can I borrow your computer to check my e-mail? I was supposed to meet someone here but they haven't showed up."
I was so startled that I let him do it. WTF, sometimes I am too nice, I think. I can't believe I said yes.
Saaa, saaaa. My house is still cold. Colder today than yesterday - I think it might be because I left the heater off for most of the day. Ah. Mm, when I got home from the cafe last night, my neighbour came to my door and said that hopefully, the boiler will be finished soon. He had been talking with the people working on it. He also said that I might want to avoid being home for a few days, 'cause he's worried the building will explode.
*facepalm*
I. Ah. I... I should ask
jesusphreaq for her phone number next time I see her. Just in case I need somewhere to stay for a few days. If, you know, the building does... explode. Oh dear gods.
On an unrelated note, something just made me very very happy, but it is silly so I shan't explain. It is silly and internet-related and makes me look like a dumbass fanboy, so.
Class this morning was awful. I slept in by accident and had to catch the late bus. This meant that I was late for class. But you know, there are usually at least five students late for my class, and I never give anyone flack for it - so they should pay me the same courtesy. Then when I got to teaching, nobody had anything to say about the book! Ugh!
*facedesks repeatedly* My students, they drive me insane. Ugh!
... The cafe is full of old people. WTF, you old people, don't you have anything better to do at 9 on a Friday night than hang aboot drinking lattes on Broadway?
