GOOD NEWS, you guys!

I got an e-mail from Cooley saying that yes, the grad department agreed to allow me to drop 18th-century lit, though it's past the due date! This makes me so happy. Now I don't have to stress out about it! Aaaand I don't have to rush to finish reading Journal of the Plague Year either. I'll save that for the summer - I really want to finish it.

It also means I don't have to be stuck at school until 4:30 PM on Tuesdays. Yuck!

Buuuuuuut I'm still made of fail for reasons I... uh... still shan't disclose. I have a feeling it's going to be a long night, my friends.

BUT! On the upside, at least I can go home after Aboriginal lit tomorrow and sleep it off! AM I RIGHT?!

Sigh. Technically, I should make like my beloved Tik and disappear for a week (or two) but I dunno' if I can do that. Mm.

Shit. I need to do laundry. Fabulous though I am, I don't want to have to wear skirts all week. It's suddenly started to get cold again. ---- OH WAIT. I can do laundry tomorrow afternoon, when I would normally be in class! Fuck yes!

Like, oh my god. I am so ridiculously happy.

Also, mandarin oranges have too many fucking seeds in them.

And I don't want to do my research paper. :| Sigh.

ALSO: Started a new fic this morning. Lol, why do I do this to myself? 's because I forgot my fic notebook at home, so I had to write something. Ah, well. This one will be short, at least. Mm, Finn/Eesti....

[edit 5:26 PM]

I totally just dropped some cash on the first volume of Lackadaisy. So worth it. OMG I can't wait.

Also, I am still made of fail.

Man, Defoe.
I remember one of my cousins gave me Journal of the Plague Year when I was 12. A bit heavy when you're in junior high school. I finished it and tossed it to the side as freaked out pre-teens usually do.
Now I'm in an English Lit class where the Prof seems to think Daniel Defoe is the second coming or something, much to my chagrin.
Fate is cruel.

(To be honest, I should probably re-read it. I'd probably enjoy it a bit more this time around.)

Oh man, Rhys, dropping Rhetoric was the best decision I've made in my academic life! So I totally know how you feel. It's so great to have that off your shoulders. Hey, maybe we'll be in a summer class together?

My boyfriend just bought Lackadaisy too, so I'm totally going to swipe his copy. :D SO GOOD.
