"HEY LOOK, a distraction!"
"WHERE?!"

I never thought I'd ever use that in writing. I have proven myself wrong. xD Saaa. Finished up another fic today, but not sure if I'll post it becauuuusssse I'm not sure if I like it. Meh, probably just needs editing.
It's quite ridiculous. But that's okay. =p And Liet's characterization seems a lliiiiiiiittle off but that might just be because happy!Liet is a lot harder to write (and shows up a lot less frequently) than angsty!Liet. We'll see.

I didn't actually end up going to that talk thing today. I got caught up reading Atwood's Oryx and Crake and forgot about the time. Oh, well. So far it's pretty good. The only other Atwood I've read is some of her short stories, and poetry (I think? Or it might be someone else I'm thinking of). I didn't like that stuff much. But, we'll see about this.
And I'm realizing now that Cooley has like, three post-apocalyptic novels on the syllabus. Back to back. *facepalm* Let's hope I don't get any nightmares. =p

I have to teach "The Rape of the Lock" on Friday and I don't want to. Srsly, u guys. U guys, srsly.

Ohhh, that book is so~...creepy, but good. The Handmaiden's Tale is good too, and more well known I think, but I prefer Oryx and Crake. I haven't read her short stories though.

Well...I wouldn't imagine it's for everyone, so there may be problems there. But I really enjoyed it!

I'm not a big fan of Oryx and Crake. It was...very pretentious and sensationalized and all 'look at me, this is what will happen with CAPITALISM, ooh.' But that's the only Atwood I've ever read.
