yuuagoFirst day of the new medication. It's been... ehh... mostly okay. However, I did have an incident in 18th-century class. Thought I was going to be sick, so I ran out of the classroom. Fortunately, I didn't end up being sick, but damn, was that ever embarrassing.
"Firewater" was very well-received (six seven comments, wow!). This makes me really happy, especially considering it was such a quick work, and I was unsure about UK's characterization.
It's so nice outside! It was really cold this morning, but it's only -11 now (-19 with wind). I took a little walk after I got home from school. The fresh air helped clear my head a little.
Normally I would go to the coffee shop after supper, but tonight I want to stay home to watch the news. Sooo, I think I'll do that. I kind of want to make thimble cookies, but the grocery store didn't have any walnuts. However, I did find a recipe that uses poppy seeds, so I might make that, because I have a bag of poppy seed that I don't know what to do with.
My hair is getting a bit long, and I kind of want to cut it, but I think I'll wait until spring for that. It's better to have a bit of extra when it's cold out.
Humm... not much more to say. There is a coffee house talk on sex and gender at Browsers tomorrow, and I'm going to that. Then on Thursday, there is a CMRS lecture on Beowulf, and of course I wouldn't miss that for anything!

Mm, and my supper today is delicious! Stir-fried chicken, green pepper and mushrooms, with lots of cracked black pepper. Ahhh~
