(no subject)

So, my vacation is officially Done; going back to work tomorrow. I wish I didn't have to! It was nice to have time off. Aside from my upcoming trip to Winnipeg, this is it for the rest of the year.

While it's not quite what I had in mind for my original plans back in August, it was still pretty nice to have some time off. Did some reading, did some writing, spent some time outside, and actually managed to find some time to get through a few of the fics on my to-read list (that hardly ever happens). Feels good.

I really liked being able to go to the library and work on fic in the middle of the day. They renovated it recently and the new arrangement for the desks is somehow an Optimal Layout for my brain. Just the right amount of ambient noise and stimulating/nonstimulating surroundings.
