Nov. 12th, 2023 09:18 pmI think part of the reason I hate doing the physio exercises is because they're just so much like the kind of exercise that I hate.
Like. Cardio? I love me some cardio. I'll do hours of it if I can. But anything where you need to count reps and time it and whatever, ugh, no. No! And that's basically what the physio exercises are. ...So it's just a chore, and blah blah blah.
Likewise, I do bodyweight exercises and whatnot, but it's very ugh. Also, have started with the dumbbells - at least to a degree. Because I needed some for the physio exercises as added resistance, so I thought "Okay, since I have these now, might as well figure out what else to do with them". So, I started with floor presses, since you don't need a bench for that. And it's... fine, but it's also very ugh. The whole time I'm thinking, "I would rather go run around the parking lot for half an hour".
I just find it kind of funny. So many people are like "Ugh, cardio, cardio sucks, it's useless, you're doing hours of bullshit for nothing". Buuut it works really well for me, what can I say. (And like, if part of the reason you're exercising is to prevent cardiovascular disease... it's pretty useful, man.)
And that's my whining for the week. :V
