Three things make a post

+ Bit of drama at my parents' place this past Saturday. There was a leak in their ensuite bathroom, and long story short, the damage was so extensive that the entire thing is going to need to be ripped out and replaced. Yikes! One very expensive and unplanned rennovation, coming right up....

The one upside of this is that they'll be able to put in something more accessible. The tub that was in there before was higher than average, and mom was having trouble getting in and out of it to shower. Now they're putting in a shower stall with no tub, so she'll have no trouble.

+ Replaced the pads on my headphones this weekend. They're so firm now, and it feels weird! I'll get used to it, though. Man, these headphones are one of the best gifts I've ever received... they're expensive as hell, but they've lasted for years with no problems aside from having to replace the ear pads every three years or so.

+ End of a long day + a good book + warm weather + cheap wine = yes.

RSI acting up again.

Warrrrrgh. Not happy about this.

(It's because of work, it's almost always because of work.)

Time to reduce computer use as much as I can. Which is probably for the best anyway, considering it's going to get hot soon. Don't want the laptop throwing more heat into the mix. So.

...The planks I was doing yesterday probably didn't help matters. Uh. Ooookay, time to switch to something else until my wrists are doing better. Yoga, probably.

Kind of funny thought, before I actually tried it, I found myself thinking, "Why do people find planks so hard? That doesn't look too difficult." OOH BOY. Well, now I know.

Fortunately it hasn't been super hot in the evenings, so I've been able to go out for some long, long walks. Feels good! Not too buggy out yet either.

And I've been remembering to wear sunscreen. :)
