More TMA things
May. 31st, 2021 08:10 pmI just listened to that bloopers reel from the post-season 4 TMA extras.
1. I cracked up. Usually I don't find this sort of thing funny, but oh boy, yes.
2. Michael's voice actor (Luke Booys) has a really nice voice. I mean, I already liked it (and oh man is that casting ever perfect), but hearing it out of context (and without the effects) was very surprising. I guess I didn't expect him to sound the way that he sounds. It's whatever the audio equivalent of "aesthetically pleasing, but in an unexpected way" would be.
He's involved in some kind of sketch comedy thing called Casual Violence. Maybe I'll check that out later? When I have a moment. After poking through some descriptions, it seems like it would either be very much my thing or very much not, and it's hard to tell which it'd be without actually jumping in.
3. I discovered that my mp3 player downloaded Season 5 of TMA without my knowledge. I'm pretty sure I turned that off - generally I prefer not to have things download without me explicitly telling it to do so - but I can't help but be very mildly amused by that. It's fitting that it'd be TMA doing that. And it wouldn't be too hard to spin it into an ~oooh, spooky~ TMA-style statement. Most likely the Web, of course. ...Hold on, is this a fic idea? [/strokes chin]
