Galo is kind of a nerd (in his own particular way) and I think that's adorable.

One of these days, I'll get better at cooking stuff ahead of time when I'm at home alone.

It's just, I don't like cooking, and to be honest I don't really enjoy eating very much either. So I just keep going along, la la la, and then suddenly it's six o'clock and I'm very hungry and it's like, "Oh. Well. Shit." And if there aren't any leftovers, well....

Usually I just make a salad and an egg sandwich, and I like salads and egg sandwiches, but one of these days I really should try to make some soup ahead of time or something.

This evening there was some leftover meat, but nothing else, so I made some rice and stir-fried vegetables to go with it. And it tasted kind of mediocre, but I'm not really sure if it's because I'm a mediocre cook, or because I'm resentful of the fact that my body requires sustenance in order to continue existing. (Both? It's probably both.)
