My brain is 80% football

It felt so good to finally watch some matches! Can't watch while at work, and most of the weekend ones were either too early in the morning, or took place while I was out of the house. But today - that was good.

Belgium vs Japan was such a good match! *_* I expected Japan to get steamrolled, but they put up a hell of a fight - I'm impressed. Those two goals in such a short span of time! And then Belgium working like hell to close the distance! And that final was just beautiful.

I'm hoping for Belgium to win against Brazil on the sixth. Brazil has a good team, but... well, I don't want to see them in the final. ;p And I'm hoping for a French victory against Uruguay on the 6th, too.

On the other side of the bracket, I have no idea how things are likely to shake out, nor how I want them to shake out. (England or Colombia? Sweden or Switzerland? I DON'T KNOW. I do hope Croatia beats Russia, though.) :Va Contenders for the final are a mystery. Ah, well, we shall see...! Only thirteen more days to go!

There was some speculation that there might be a break some time soon, but raws are up (somewhere) for episode 11, so I guess we were wrong about that. Excellent. :)
