It was warm this weekend. I'm really glad. It's nice to be able to go around without having to wear my snowboots; they make my feet feel so heavy. Sneakers are so much more to my taste. I like to be able to walk briskly instead of stomping around like an elephant.

I wrote today, which was a pleasant surprise, since I didn't plan on it. But Folie had a really fun VME idea, so I decided to run with it. Didn't expect my first fic for this fandom to be straitjacket porn, but hey, why not. (I lie, I wrote another thing before this, but uh, it needs work.) The neat thing is, she decided to run with the idea too. I have no doubt that hers will be better, but it makes me really... joyful? Delighted? That we're working on the same thing.

'Course, now I need to type the damn thing up, which is one of my least favourite parts of writing. Ugh, sometimes I'm really tempted to just scan my drafts and upload the images and say "There you go, that's the fic, good luck." But I wouldn't really be so cruel as to make people try to decipher my terrible handwriting.
