I wouldn't be complaining, except that I had plans to go downtown today so that I could work on some writing in a quiet cafe, and... yeah. Maaaan. Do not want.

Oh, well. The only thing to do is... deal with it.

VH stuff - wiki editing etc

Okay, so. I capped the entire Dogs of War comic for my buddy Diplo. I mean, ideally I'd be able to just hand over my iGadget so that he could read it, but that... doesn't apply in this circumstance, so. Y'know.

I think I've fallen down the wiki-editing rabbit hole. Originally I was just going to add a Dogs of War page to the VH wiki, because it didn't have any information on it yet. But then I just... kept going. Not that much, mind you. I didn't want to get stuck in it too firmly.

It's just, there is so much information that is missing. The character profiles are really sparse, and don't include information from the official web page. And there are some details that are not correct, or sort-of right but not really, and so on.

It's kind of overwhelming, and I don't quite know where to start, because I've never done any wiki editing before. But I definitely want to fix things up a bit. And with references - whether it's specific game chapters, site profiles, or DoW information. Though I'm not quite sure how to do that. I guess footnotes would be best, though I'm very fond of in-text citation - maybe I'll just use that for citing chapters, I dunno.

It would probably be best for me to start with Walt, because most of his character information in terms of biographical stuff comes from the website profile and from Dogs of War. The human characters have just way too much in-game stuff for me to handle right now.

I have stroopwafels. They are delicious. IT WAS THE LAST PACKAGE, TOO. ... Hopefully the grocery store will have more in next week, I can't help but love these. Oh, Amsterdam, what have you done to me. (Amazing things)

Well, I now own a pair of Manitobah mukluks. My wallet is screaming, but I am delighted, and hopefully they will help with the "feet like ice blocks" problem, since I really don't think that the furnace at my office will get fixed any time soon. ... But if it does, I can wear them at home as slippers! Awesome.

I had planned to watch both versions of J'accuse! this weekend, but that didn't go as planned. In fact, I feel like I wasted most of my Saturday. Lovely. But I might still find time this weekend, or on Tuesday, since that day is off. First I need to finish watching Alien, though. I got about an hour in, then had to go to bed, and didn't have the energy to watch anything in the week following that. So.

To be honest, I've been kind of ignoring my to-do list in general.

I have fest fics that I need to write, but I'm just... not... in the mood. At all. 6_9 Alas.
