Jul. 8th, 2012 11:07 amBirthday in two days, and 20 days until Iron Maiden! *_* Yesssss. (Nooo, I'm not counting down the days until that concert, of course not.)
Been busy busy busy, ahhh. It's hard to get anything done because of work, and the weather doesn't help. It's so hot out, and all that leaves me feeling kind of fatigued, argh. ... Of course, anyone who lives in an actual hot climate will think I'm a total wimp. ;p Oh, well.
AHHH. Man, I wish I had more time on my hands. Okay, let's see, here's what I need to do today:
-Indexing ETA: Done!
-Work on fest fic [I want to get at least 500 words drafted of the first one... The story will take more than that, but it's a start.] ETA: Got 800 words in, and technically if I edited cleverly, I could stop it here if I really had to. Feels good, man! At this point, it's about halfway drafted.
-...Tags? Maybe? I don't want to get behind, ahhh.
But the first two things are the most important. Especially the fest stuff. Neeeed to get that done, especially since I'll lose two writing days due to that concert.
This week coming up, I'll be in town for a couple of days to do training on the program that I use for my job. Sounds good! It'll be nice to be able to sleep in a little instead of getting up at 5 AM for the commute out to the plant site, heh. Hmm, there will also be some extra time at the end of the day... maybe I'll be able to take my netbook with me and work on fic during that time. [/crosses fingers]
