Just a few things before I go to bed (eugh, 10 PM is way too early a bed time. This is ridiculous) -
☆ Work is going well, but slowly. This is normal, but man, I wish I had more to... do. Though things will pick up eventually, or so I hear. This is good - it means I'll slowly be able to get into it. But for now, I feel like I'm being paid to sit on my ass.
☆ I started reading Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea because that author's work came up in a roleplay conversation and I found myself thinking - you know, I've wanted to read his stuff for years, but I have never gotten around to it. Enjoying it so far. :D
☆ Finally received that book on the Napoleonic Wars that I ordered a little while ago. *_* Though unfortunately I won't be able to read it until my days off (it's quite hard to make sense of nonfiction when I am exhausted, ah). It's one of those periods that I've always thought was kind of interesting but I never really got around to learning anything about it. ... And recently Bice has been doodling characters in Napoleonic-era uniform, which certainly makes me interested, too *q* ... And who knows, maybe I'll get an idea or two for a story. Not that I have much time to write nowadays.
☆ But when I really think about it, I should see if I can find any good books about the various northern wars, or maybe just that time period in northern Europe in general - seeing as I've been interested in that, lately. But lawd, I have so many books I need to read - maybe after I get through a few of those, first...!
☆ The Nordex and Baltdex have been updated. So many Nordics requests in this round - I was surprised. Wonder what spawned it all. :Va
☆ Kind've wondering how on earth anyone manages to have a life with a schedule like mind. OH WELL, I say. At least this job will (hopefully) lead to something. In the meantime, I'll just... continue to go to bed at ridiculously early hours. :T
