First: 1000-year-old marks in tree found near Prague

Anyway. Today went well, I think. Still a little bit awkward, but we're getting there. Things have been okay. So, there we are.

Tomorrow we're going to go walking around - I need to head down to the used book store to trade in some stuff, then head over to M.C.R so that I can pick up the last of my textbooks. We talked about getting a Scrabble set - we're both nerdy for that kind of thing. Might be nice to sit out in the sun and play.

Comment notifications are not working for me again. This is very, very frustrating.

Few brief points

-Sab has concluded that I could sleep through a hurricane (didn't wake up until something like 11:30 in spite of the construction in the basement)

-Several people do not share my love for tentacle-y things

-While in the shower I got an excellent idea for my Baltic Way fic. It just kind of hit me upside the head. Wonderful. I'd decided ages ago that I wanted to write something for the day, but had no idea how to proceed; now I know the direction I want to go. Shit, it's been ages since I last wrote Liet and I still have no idea how to write Latvia, oh well

-Blueberries mixed with cereal = awesome

-I am, apparently, a nerd for liking aquariums (and especially goldfish) as much as I do. However, Sab and I both agree that while saltwater tanks are pretty, they are WAY TOO MUCH TROUBLE and also dangerous.
