Ahaha. I am the LAZIEST LAZYASS IN THE UNIVERSE.
But, that's okay. It's the weekend. It's Saturday. It's okay.
I have a seminar paper to give on Tuesday but I think I'll be all right. Yeah... just need to work a little on that. I was planning to go down to the library today, but I really don't feel like it, so I think I'll just do what I can at home. I honestly don't think I'll find many actual articles on this particular book anyway, so I really need to figure out what direction I'm going in before I do research. 'cause, see, I have to do the "pull random unrelated stuff from various disciplines and make it work" thing that I'm so good at. Hell yeah, I'm awesome.

It is SO GORGEOUS OUT. Hellooooo, -2~! *twirl* After I clean up a bit I'm going to go outside and frolic for a while. I'll wear my nice clothes, too! See, when it's too cold out, I can't wear my nice winter clothes, because they just aren't warm enough. Have to put on layer and layer and layer of mismatched stuff and it doesn't look elegant at all, but it's sure warm. But when it's like this, I can go out looking so classy.

Humm. I feel so idle. Better start getting things done soon. La, they shan't take long though.

Today, mum was talking to me about changing apartments. I will probably be doing this over the summer. I do like my little apartment, and it is a great location, but it's kind of... well, sketchy. Casey knows what I'm talking about. And I do not like the fact that there is zero ventilation. Literally, there are no vents at all - if I want air circulation, I have to open the window, which is not practical in the winter. And I also do not like the fact that I cannot control the heat. So, I will have to keep that in mind.
Sigh. I do want to stay in the same area of the city, though. And I need to be within walking distance of a grocery store. Aa, all these things, so complicated....

Is it bad that I am hoping to quickly get through this year, because I'm so looking forward to 2010? California and Europe, oh my!
I have a lot of saving to do. x.x

Warghlblarghl.

I just plain can't get into my homework. This sucks. :/ Normally it's a nonissue, but meeeeeh. This book just isn't drawing me in. Buggerit.

I went out for a while today. Got some groceries. When I came home, I found that the fire alarm was going off. There wasn't a fire, but there was some sort of electrical shortage in the basement or something, we think, 'cause the whole building stank like... well, the smell that comes from an electrical shortage.
Odette from apt #5 called the apartment manager, and the dude who lives in #3 (can't remember his name) went down to the basement and managed, somehow, to turn off the fire alarm. So, we all went back inside and went about our business. Still, the building stunk for several hours and I had to open the window to get some fresh air, though that didn't matter because it's nice out.

One thing that really bothers me, though, is - shouldn't our fire alarm system be connected to the fire department some how? Then again, it was only the alarm going off, not the smoke detectors, so that might have something to do with the fact that a fire truck didn't come. It just makes me a little uneasy, I guess. I mean, if something really bad had gone down - but, ehhhhhh. Whatever.
Moar motivation to move to another location when the time comes. Though I really do like this apartment. Well, the good parts, anyway.

Also, sillyness:
