Jan. 30th, 2009 08:48 pmToday was such a good day! Tutorial went amazingly. I'm not sure if it's because of the pills, but I was a lot less uneasy/anxious/scared than I usually am in tutorial. And the students actually talked!
Part of it might have to do with the fact that it was a very small class today. Only twelve people showed up (it's a class of 20). Still, I don't care much, because it's the keeners who did show up. And some people talked who normally wouldn't talk. So.
I started out by splitting them into groups and giving them some questions about modern satire to discuss. Then after we went over them as a whole class, I eased them into talk about Rape of the Lock. What things Pope is criticizing and why, and so on.
They think "cockscomb" is a funny word. Aha. xD
And then oral class went well, though I was tired and couldn't think of anything to say. After that was lunch and studying in the ECC room. And Erin came in, and we had a nice conversation, and I wasn't anxious at all! That's quite an amazing thing, all things considered.
We talked about travelling and I went on for a while about how I want to drag Hokuto all over Europe. Haha.
Mm. I'm so tired and not very motivated to do anything right now. Fortunately, it's the weekend, so if I have trouble sleeping it's no big deal. Still, I should do some things before it is too late in the evening to do them. Saaaaaaa.
Good gods, I'm so lazy!
