re: Notebooks, EXACTLY. If it's too pretty and has a proper binding and looks like a keepsake, I'm so reluctant to use it. I throw most of my writing in the recycle bin when I'm done with it, so I prefer looseleaf in a folder or thin floppy notebooks with saddle stitch or staple binding.
