Came across this really pretty song while I was bouncing around the internet.

It's a performance of "Ilus maa" at the 2014 Laulupidu/Estonian Song Festival. Absolutely gorgeous! It's amazing how good such a huge amount of people singing in unison can sound. Apparently there were over a thousand choirs at the festival this particular year.

This song starts off so delicate, and then the centre is intense, wow.

Oh I think my brother and sister-in-law have been part of that festival with their choir! Or at least, something similar in Estonia, but I can't imagine there are that many events like it. They wouldn't have been at the one in 2014, I think they went in 2018 or 19 maybe. But apparently there were like...30k choir members or something? Sounds absolutely wild but also fun.
