I'd be totally cool with that for both treats and main gifts! Like I said, it was just a matter of lacking ideas for certain mediums.
But if you're thinking about that for a main gift, you'll want to run that by the mod and probably link them to this letter, since they check assignments against requests and it'll come up as a discrepancy if you post a main gift in a medium I didn't request.
