^3^ In that case, if you do end up doing something with Canada and Lithuania, I'd look forward to reading it.
... Yeah you're right, I couldn't get any weirder than Himaruya. Ever. I just. [/gestures to mochis] [/and alpaca comics] [????] Anyway. Yeah, in that historical fic I wrote, Czech had blond hair - like I mentioned, I wanted close family resemblance to Poland. BUT then again, who says I need to adhere to my previous headcanon, really. ;p But. !! You're right, dyed blond hair in modern day is a good idea. A while back I was doing a search in order to get ideas for character designs, and all the ladies had blonde hair, but thinking back on it, it was definitely dyed fff.
Writing history though... It's just, if I got something wrong, I would be so embarrassed. orz. Though I guess it should be more forgivable if there aren't detailed sources that I can read... You say that theoretically it should be easier for you, since you're writing characters in your neighbourhood, but I don't think that's necessarily so. You might have more detailed (better?) sources available to you, but there's also additional pressure to get it right, I think. Because it's stuff that you should already know about. Or something.
