Nov. 21st, 2010 07:31 pmTime keeps creeping up on me and suddenly it's going to be like, oh shit, it's December. Where did the month go? Well, who knows.
Today was spent running around like a chicken with its head cut off, trying to find something. One would think that it wouldn't be too hard to find snowflake stickers this close to Giftmas, right? Wrong. Not in this one-horse town, anyway. Christ on a cracker, I don't even...
My fingers are stiff from knitting and I'm craving sweets and my house is so cold because there's something wrong with our furnace but you know, I really don't mind. But I'll be happy when all this running around getting things prepared for people is over. I want to go back to writing.
I don't have anything much else to say right now, so I'm just going to post this song, on account of it being stuck in my head:
I'm not a huge fan of this genre, but I fucking love k-os, and this song in particular. It makes me want to dance. And his music - some of the other stuff - it makes me think of good things, brings good memories, because it was played on the radio all the time when I was studying at Acadia. And I must admit, I tend to be rather biased in favour of Canadian musicians.
... unless they suck. Like Nickelback. But we won't go there.

Date: 2010-11-22 03:03 pm (UTC)... YEAH but y'all don't get snow down there this time of year so it makes sense. (I dunno). Back when I was living in the big city, I could find what I was looking for, but now that I'm in the middle of nowhere again it's impossible to find ANYTHING. Sigh.
And I HOPE I'll be able to finish everything... sometimes it seems impossible orz
