Keep on shining at the speed of love
PSA: If you want a Christmas card from me and have not yet given me your address, leave me a note at this entry. Likewise, my own address is in a flocked entry here. There are some of you that I will be chasing down if you do not give it to me, don't think that I won't! (Mostly people who have sent me things in the past, whose return-addresses were illegible)
I started out writing a big long entry, but I ended up deleting most of it. Sigh. To put a long story short, yesterday was not good, and today was not better. I strongly suspect that I had a case of food poisoning. Luckily things are straightening out, but let me tell you, I was not very good today, neither physically nor mentally. I stayed home from class again. Missed quite a few class-related things this week. Not good, not good at all, but I guess I'll just have to do what I can.
Between that, school-related stress, and the fact that my mum kept harassing me over the phone about my medication and such this evening, I am not a happy camper, to put it mildly. Yes, I'm doing fine, no, I won't want to go to therapy, no, it's NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS goddamn. Ugh. I just -- I don't even know. I'm just so full of SULK and RAGE today, I guess. I do hope tomorrow will be better. I really, really don't want to start whangsting all over the place again, because that would be bad.
Anyway. I got my winter coat back from the drycleaner's place, so now I won't be cold. It's getting very chilly out, and my Classics sweater just isn't warm enough. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do about my coat during school days and stuff, but I guess I'll live. Thankfully I won't need to get my winter boots out for a while yet, though I have encountered some areas that are a little bit icy. For the most part my hiking shoes can handle it. And I've been working on my winter scarf, and got quite a good amount done over Thanksgiving. If I keep with it, then maybe by Solstice I'll be finished.
I tried to write this evening, but was unsuccessful. Frustrating. It's one of those short things where it's all about the imagery, and there isn't much actually happening. I love the image, but it just isn't working out. Frustrating, as this is for someone else, but argh, I don't know. Right now I can't decide whether to keep going and try to finish, then do a complete overhaul when I type it up, or re-start all over again from scratch. Maybe I'll try both, I don't know.
On a positive note: Noonish wrote an adorable Den/Nor fic and I think everyone should read it. :V Yes. Little Red Hearts. SO CUTE AHHH.
