Fuck yeah, castles. Ahhh, medievalnews, how I love you. This kind of thing is what attracted me to medieval... stuff. You know, castles and knights and all that nonsense. 's good stuff.

So, anyway. Today I was not very productive, though I did get the laundry done. Went out on my run, which was excellent. Ah, I love the fresh air~ And then I spent the evening at the Roastery working on fic. Relatively short; started typing it up, but dunno when I'll get around to editing it. I've been a lazy douche lately.

My postcard from mattyroh arrived~ That made me quite happy. Oh, also, I dropped Odifen's letter in the mail, so that's another thing done.

Nothing else to report. Ugh, I'm so tired, but not really in any state to go to bed. Mmmn. Maybe I'll just finish typing up this fic, then read some comics or... something.

That's really cool that they've found a new castle! I used to want to be an archeologist (still think it's really cool, just couldn't deal with how hands on and possibly dusty/dirty it could be) and Spain! I want to go there badly~

I know, right? Man, I love hearing about when they find new stuff. It's so exciting to know that there's still tons of stuff out there that nobody has re-discovered yet. It's just forgotten, waiting for someone to stumble on it (sometimes literally).

I wasn't too into archaeology back in the day; palaeontology was more my thing. But now that I'm interested in becoming a medievalist (with classicist backing), I've been really struck by the archaeological side of things. It's so cool, gahh~

I used to want to discover Atlantis, so I watched all the archaeology shows on TV. Then I was interested in the Phoenicians and Carthage and Hannibal... but modern history is so fascinating, too, a;dlkjf. And being a medievalist sounds cool too!
