Part of what I like about Sweden/Norway is historical, but part of it is also modern... The countries seem to love playfully making jokes about each other, and it's the kind of relationship that would be really cute with the characters. It's too bad they don't have much direct canon interactin.
Ahhh Denmark/Iceland is a nice pairing. I'm trying to write something with them now, but I'm still not sure how I want to portray their relationship. Could you tell me more about how you like to see them?
As for Denmark/Netherlands - their historical relations were pretty good, though it shows through in some events more than others. My favourite historical event with them is the Battle of the Sound; Netherlands and Denmark were allies, so after Sweden occupied much of Denmark's coast and Copenhagen was under siege, Netherlands intervened to save Denmark and chase the Swedes back to Scania (well, that's a very simplified version of the story). Of course, Netherlands was mainly acting for its own interest - Sweden occupying Denmark was inconvenient for business - but it makes for a nice story. :D
For Germany and Denmark - I think there are plans to build a tunnel between the real countries, so that's probably what the comic was about. I find it really nice that Denmark wants to be his friend, though. Since some of their history is so unpleasant, it would be easy for Denmark to dislike him, but... his enthusiasm about Germany makes it clear that Denmark is willing to put the past behind him, and I think that's really nice.
Ahhh Sweden/Iceland!! That's a pairing that I like but usually don't mention because so few people like it, I'm so glad to hear that you enjoy it. :D Some day I want to write something about them, but I don't have any ideas right now.
(I'm not very into Sweden/Finland, myself. It's okay but I prefer friendship interaction with them, I think)
Re: Hello! I would like to talk to you about Moomins, APH Nordics and other things.
