Ahhh it's a cliche question but it's a good one. xD I like a lot of Nordic pairings... My biggest favourite Nordic pairing is Denmark/Norway. It's the one that I always return to, and I think about it a lot even though I don't write stories with them very often. The historical comics that Himaruya drew of them made me feel so happy because the way they act toward each other was exactly the way I had always hoped for it to be.
But like I said, I like a lot more pairings... Norway is my favourite, so I like pairing him up the most. Like with Sweden or with Iceland. And also outside the Nordics, like England or Netherlands or Germany.
Though there are pairings I like not involving Norway too. I like Denmark/Sweden - though mostly in modern day, because the current relations between the real countries are so good. I like the story of "years of conflict ending in peace, and eventually affection" kind of thing. Oh and I also like Denmark/Netherlands too, I think it's a really nice relationship because historically they have been very friendly. And Denmark/Germany is fun too, I love how in the comics/illustrations Denmark seems to always be trying to get Germany's attention when he's around him. :D
