Firstly: Welcome, everyone from the most recent friending meme. ♥ You guys are going to quickly realize that I'm not half as interesting as you seem to think I am, hah.

Now that it's out of the way...

Things are kind of "argharghflail" right now. I kind of want to talk about it, but I mostly don't. So, I shan't.

I've discovered I have an absolute love for fresh cherries. Well, re-discovered. And thanks to Odie I now know how to make grilled-cheese sandwiches. They're excellent with goat cheese. Or jack cheese. Or just... whatever. I don't usually have cheddar. Lawl, fail.

Tired. Very tired. Need to get back to normalcy. Need. Gahhhh. Also need to get out more. Daysleeper = not good.

I'm not sure why, but when I woke up this morning I found myself really missing my relatives. John and Elke... they're so great, and it's been a while since I saw them. Maybe I thought of them because I've been writing things with Sweden in it lately; I partly base my characterization of him off John. But anyway. I just remembered, you know. What it's like to wake up at their house in the comfortable bed in their spare bedroom. Sun coming in through the partly-open blinds. Jays calling out in the bush - they lived on an acreage, see. Upstairs, music of some sort playing, usually either German opera or something local and East-Coast, and John cooking something absolutely delicious for breakfast.

I miss them, and I miss Nova Scotia. They sold their acreage and moved to Ontario, so I now I can't even visit them as an excuse to go to NS, hah. But oh, how I miss -- everything.

Saskatoon is all right, but... It's not Halifax.
