Misc +++

+ Very hot today. Will continue to hover around 30C for the rest of the week. This is typical for summer here, but I don't have to like it! Ah, well, at least I get to work in a nice cold basement.

+ Sent the final beta-read draft for the DK/NO zine off to the organisers. I put more work into this story than I typically would, because I was involved in this project by invitation - so I wanted to give it 110%.

There's another thing that makes it special, something I didn't mention before. This is for a Chinese-language zine; my story is going to be translated into Chinese. There are also plans to do an English-language version of the zine as well, but I'm going to hold off getting excited about that until it happens, since that would be a much bigger task for the organisers. Anyway... I'm just so excited about this! I'm still floored I was asked to participate, since I'm not in Chinese Hetalia fandom at all, and I'm the only person from the English side of the fandom involved in it. <3

+ Had a bit of time today, so I started writing a little HK/NO fic, as a treat. ...Spent a whole page on mundane background and setup and I'm starting to wonder if I should've just jumped straight to the porn. Ain't that how it always goes. ;V

* Received prompts from Tik for a fic I owe him. Very excited about what I'll be writing, though it might prove a bit challenging; it's for a beloved rarepair that I haven't written in years. (And now I won't say anything more about it, because somehow that always makes writing harder.)
