Oct. 14th, 2021 08:28 pmMan, I've decided that exercise videos are just Not For Me.
Every time I've decided to give them a try, they start off slow, but then go face-first into a pose/technique/whatever that's too advanced for me. Kind of demotivating.
My experience with books has been much better. Though, not foolproof - I remember looking through this one yoga book that overall has been very good for me, but it lists Camel as a beginner-friendly pose, and like - seriously? What was this author smoking, I really do not know.
Anyhow, that was an interesting experiment, even if the result wasn't what I would have liked. My usual process was working pretty well for me anyway, so there's no reason not to go back to that.
Man, though... I really wish there were more hours in the day. I'd like to be able to work out for like, an hour and a half every day, but on work days it's just impossible. I've tried! There isn't enough time for it! What a pain in the ass.
