I made plans to work on my pending fic today, and I did! Hooray!

It's almost done - I just need to finish the sex scene, then write the cooldown, and then the wrapup. And then the draft will be DONE! Which is good, because we're on a deadline here.

Also, I went through the beginning of it, and made notes of some parts that need to be fleshed out more. Hooray!

Still feeling kind of iffy about the characterization and whatnot, but... getting the draft done is the first step to polishing it up. What I do have is close enough to the way I prefer things that I think it won't be too much trouble to tweak it.

I also looked through the draft for my other pending fic, and... I like it? The goofy banter is actually funny! Or at least I thought it was funny, and suited the characters. Which is a big relief, because I was so worried about it.

I'm really satisfied, and happy, and relieved. We're not all the way there yet, as far as fulfilling all my auction obligations goes, but I made a lot of progress today and I deserve to be pleased with it.
