Jan. 14th, 2021 04:28 pmI noticed recently that some people take the reader into account when they write things. Like, how the reader might interpret things.
I usually don't give it any thought.
This isn't a good thing or a bad thing; it's just a thing.
It's possible that I don't consider audience much because when I write something there's a very real possibility that I won't post it. (Or I will post it, but backdated on a site without subscriptions, three years after initially writing it.)
Even when it's for an exchange or an auction, it's like... the audience is One (1) person, who half the time doesn't give me much to go on besides "I want something happy with this pairing". In which case... Okay, I'll write something for myself, except I'll make sure not to include anything too weird because it's theoretically for another person.
I don't know where I'm going with this.
