Mission complete
Aug. 14th, 2020 08:09 pmI picked up the keys to my new condo today.
Hadn't wanted to talk about it much (or at all) previously because there was always a chance that something could go wrong. But now, it's undeniably mine.
I had to get everything done on a very tight schedule for various reasons, so the past few weeks have been very stressful, but that's all over.
Right now it's a project rather than a place that I'm living in. There are some repairs that need to be done first, and it needs to be cleaned from top to bottom, and I'm going to have it painted. ...Need to buy some furniture, too, but that can wait a little while.
I won't be moving in until some time in September, but that's fine.
There are still a lot of little things that need to be done.
Right now I'm too overwhelmed to be excited about it. I'll probably feel a lot better once all the cleaning and repairs are finished.
