Thoughts on Die Walküre:

This was about two and a half hours longer than it strictly had to be. Parts of it kind of felt like Wagner had crawled up his own ass, if you know what I mean. There was just... so... much of it?

It was interesting to watch something that I had seen referenced in so many forms, though. Very "Aha! I understand where that came from now!".

Also: Brünnhilde/Sieglinde, y/y? I dunno', something about the vibe between the singers in this particular production worked for me.
