Eurovision - Semifinal 2

Second Eurovision Semifinal was today! A few quick thoughts:

- I'm disappointed that Croatia didn't make it to the final. I liked their song more than I expected to. And Romania! Not seeing that one in the final is also disappointing - I really liked that song. And I hear they had an interesting aesthetic? I'll have to check the visuals out later.

- Russia's song was a snoozer. Nothing wrong with the singing, but the entry itself, no thanks. I liked Sergey Lazarev's act from 2016, but the one he did tonight, no... However, I couldn't watch the performance, could only listen to it, so maybe there's something in the visuals that I missed.

- I liked Norway's entry quite a bit! As an actual song, the studio version is much better - I think if I'd heard that before listening to the live performance version, I might have been disappointed. But it was still really cool. Loved the joik section. <3 <3

- Albania's entry was so cool. Loved that song. And bless them for singing in Albanian - there were so many English-language entries this year, it's nice that there was something different. And I hear the costuming was great? Anyway, I'm really glad this went to the final. :D

That's all for now. ;) Very much looking forward to the final on Saturday! Especially since I'll be able to actually watch the acts, rather than only listen to them.
