Finished reading: Northwood by Maryse Meijer. The way the book was designed was brilliant, but the poetry was mediocre. It's like the sort of cupcake that is brilliantly decorated but tastes disappointing.

Also finished reading: Such a Lonely, Lovely Road by Kagiso Lesego Molope. A lovely novel, set in South Africa, about two men trying to work their way toward a relationship, with all the difficulties that entails. Happy ending. I came across this article about the book and the author, and found it interesting - apparently she had to write the novel twice because the first point of view that she chose just wasn't working. Anyway, this Molope's work might worth checking out if you're looking to read things by LGBTQ2A authors. (Unsure precisely how she identifies, but the article quotes her discussing her relationships with women, so.)

Currently reading: Don't Look Back by Karin Fossum; a mystery novel set in a Norwegian village. A breezy read; exactly what I was looking for. Might need to check out more of the series later. This is one of the ones I've picked up on vacation; rather glad I got around to it rather than letting it sit.

Reading next: Currently undecided. :V

Spent the evening refolding my shirt drawer.

...I feel like I'm a million years old. But at least my stuff is all tidy now. And I found all of my Sabaton t-shirts!

Very exciting, yes, fascinating. ;p ;p

(There is nothing else going on in my life right now and I am procrastinating on fic editing.)
