(no subject)

Had a random conversation with someone at the bus stop this afternoon. It was a little weird, because that normally doesn't happen, but it was also kind of nice. It's... nice to talk to people. Sometimes. But it's even nicer to be reminded that I am, in fact, more or less capable of carrying on a civilized conversation with someone, provided that conversation isn't with a family member.

...Anyway.

We got a ton of snow dumped on us overnight. ~Second winter~, as they call it. Too deep for sneakers. Lovely. But it wasn't cold, and that actually is lovely - I don't care about a bit of snow as long as I can wear a lighter coat with it.

I spent a bit of time this afternoon grating wax into bits small enough to fit into the well of the kistka. Going to try to do up the pysanky tomorrow. Or start at it, anyway. Jury is out whether I'll make something presentable, or whether I'll just make a mess.

Aaahhh I keep poking through my WIP folder and eyeing some of these very, very old stories. Today, Folie was talking about a companion piece to Sixth Day that she never did finish, and it made me think of some of my old APH fic. I really, really should finish some of these. On some of them, there's a substantial amount of work already done - it'd be a shame to let it sit incomplete forever. Well, we'll see.

NiF status: Finished ep 26 today. So, almost at the halfway point. Kind of tempted to backtrack a bit and rewatch some of them, because Jingrui's subplot was... one hell of a subplot, and really, a lot to process, heh. But, that will wait for another time. Let's just get through the whole thing first, shall we? ;)
