Three things make a post
Jan. 22nd, 2018 06:57 pm☆ Aaaahhh, we've got snow, snow, and more snow! Thankfully it's stopped, and at least it isn't terribly cold out, but I'm still not looking forward to going out to shovel it. Awful stuff. Bleh. HOW MANY MORE MONTHS OF WINTER LEFT... (the rest of January, then February and March and April, and May is iffy.)
☆ Today's frustration: I want to knit, but my hands are acting up, blargh. I know that I should rest them! But I don't want to! I need to develop telekinesis so I can knit with my mind. ...Either that or learn to crochet. I have the impression it's easier on the hands, perhaps. OF COURSE, let's completely ignore that the reason I'm having issues is because I have been spending way too much time playing video games. And by video games I mean 2048 on mobile. /COUGH
☆ Aq Bure released a new album a couple of days ago, Playing Laughing Singing Dancing and oh my gosh, it's delightful. This group is entirely new to me, but ahhh, I really like their sound! They are a folk metal band from Tartarstan, Russia; they sing in Tartar, and their music is likewise influenced by local folk styles. Every now and then I come across music that sounds as if it sparkles; this album is one of those, especially the first two tracks. It's all glittery. <3 <3
