☆ I finished reading The Man Who Spoke Snakish! ...I didn't like it. Which is terribly disappointing, because it seemed like it would totally be my jam (paganism + medieval Estonia + talking animals = YES PLEASE) but it didn't click with me. Too... discourse-centric. But, more deets will follow on Wednesday.
☆ Spent some time today pressing Shiro pigments. I've had these loose-pigment eyeshadows hanging around for a while, and I rarely use them because loose is such a pain to apply compared to pressed (especially stuff like 'A Terrible Fate', which is a shimmery/glittery dark blue. So gorgeous. Such a mess). It's my first time pressing pigment, so I'm a little bit unsure, but... we'll see how it goes. If the batch that I did works out, you better believe I'll be pressing all the rest. :D And thankfully, it wasn't half as messy as I thought it would be!
☆ I have a million wips that I need to work on, and no drive to work on any of them. :T Though I suppose I should plunk down a few words here or there, do some minor editing, some draft-fiddling... It's not urgent, but I'll probably feel better once I look at some text. I keep wanting to start new things, rather than working on old things. How annoying.
☆ ...I don't really have anything else to say, so have a song: Lauri Schreck's cover of SHM's "Don't You Worry Child". "I was supposed to make an ordinary video with kantele music, and then things got out of hand" Haha, you don't say. :D Though as far as this dude goes, I still prefer this song.
