u ship wot m8: Mad Max rarepair thoughts

So, I came across someone saying that some people ship Angharad/Coma.

And my first thought was: wat.

And my second thought was also wat.

But after I stopped blinking, I read the explanation.

I've come to appreciate the idea that Angharad, so sick of being 'treasured' for her beauty that she scarred her own face, would like a blind man who treasures everything but her looks.*

And now I have an IDEA and I just - man. I did not need to fall into rarepair hell in this fandom. Thought I would be a gen-only person, yep. But I find the concept behind this pairing really intriguing, and I might need to think on it a little while.

There are a handful of fics on Ao3, possibly more on the KM though I haven't looked over there. Bookmarked one of the Ao3 ones that looked interesting. Not sure when I'll get around to it, but... yes....

Yeah, I'm definitely going to need to think about this a bit more. (How does one write Angharad, I wonder?)

I was going to go for a run tonight but it's too hot. And I was going to do other things, but it's too hot for that, either.

Replies in the next few weeks might be a bit sporadic on account of the above. My computer can't take the heat, and I can't take the heat it's giving off, yuck. So, we'll see.

Sounds like I should set a goal to spend less time on the computer. 6_9 And use that time for reading, perhaps? Or writing by hand. Hmm! My computer will thank me. My wrists too, probably.
