Well. The person I was writing for in the Nordics exchange has dropped out, so I've been re-assigned. (They've also renamed and have said they aren't interested in the fandom any more. Well then. They were arranging to run an exchange that would be due February - I guess that's cancelled now, probably.)

Since I haven't started writing, it's not a big deal, but I'm a little disappointed because I really liked the prompt I'd originally received... I'm probably going to write it eventually anyway. But for now, I need to think about the new prompt. They didn't give me much to work on - and it's a pairing that I've never written even though I do like it. But I already have an idea or two, and if I get desperate I guess I could try to pick Kainoliero's brain, because she's the one who got me to appreciate it in the first place.

Still - kind of a bummer. I was hoping this would be quick and easy. Oh well; there's plenty of time. And this way, I won't be writing for someone that I dislike. Even though I liked my previous prompt, I did not like the person I was assigned to, and it's a miracle that I didn't have them blocked, because they're honestly obnoxious. Anyway - annoyance averted.

Main thing I need to worry about right now is the SveFin fest, though. I need it done by Saturday, and I'm not even close yet. Fortunately, I'm not at the point where I'm staring at it and wishing it would write itself. Cutting it pretty close, though.... Signing up for three fests/exchanges this year was a terrible idea. Never doing that again. I don't know what I was thinking. D:
