Two more days of vacation, oh no

I only have two days of vacation left, and I'm going to milk 'em for all they're worth. Time to Get Shit Done, oh yes! (... Watch as my plans for this crash and burn due to other people needing me to do things for them. Alas.)

Watched The Seventh Seal last night. Enjoyed the hell out of it. Man, if anyone had mentioned to me that the black death featured pretty heavily in this movie, I would have gotten around to it a whole lot sooner. The only things I knew going in were "It's Swedish and apparently it's good". There is no way on earth that I'm going to manage to get through my goal of watching 50 films this year, but that's all right. If I get halfway, it'll be fine.

Recently started re-reading The Revenger's Tragedy, since I was able to pick up a copy of it when I was in Nova Scotia. It's one of my favourite plays, and I was really upset when I'd realized that I had lost the anthology I had that contained it. So now, having it is really great. It's just such a weird and gruesome play, oh man - I hope some day I'll be able to see it on stage. That would be amazing.

In certain small ways, I've been trying to cut down my "online time-wasting" a little bit. And in some ways, it has worked. I've been spending more time reading and less time screwing around on the internet in general, at least. And that's something. It's pretty amazing how easy it is to transfer one's attention to something else by doing really little things (like... closing the window of the website that constantly distracts you. Uh. Who would've thought.)

Oh, also - Finished a fic yesterday, and earlier in the week finished that Germany/Norway story I was working on. Posted it here, in case anybody can't wait for the revised version (which, knowing me, I won't get around to until about six months from now). Now I'm just stuck on what to work on next. Since I finished two things, it wouldn't be terrible if I started something new, right? ;)
