Just nonsense

Well. Today we made pies, as planned. That took most of the day; it really does take a long time, because the pastry recipe makes quite a lot - enough for three pies. We made rhubarb, strawberry-rhubarb and apple; they turned out wonderfully. Much better than any store-bought pies, that's for certain. And apparently, I have a fine hand for rolling and working with pastry. Usually mum only gets it rolled thinly enough to make two pies.

Other than that, not much happened today - because by the time we were finished baking, and after we did a grocery run, it was time for supper. Bah. A few things happened that I shan't mention because I'm not upset about it any more, but at the time it really irked me... Anyway, I didn't go out as I had hoped, and tomorrow I probably won't either. This is very frustrating. Ah, well. I guess I'll live. Sometime this week I'll make my way down, surely. I really really really want to make it down to Coco Jo's to do some writing, at least.

Pffffft. I knew there was a reason I love this band, and a reason I love this wonderful individual. Eee.

Mum says we'll probably be going to the national park sometime next week. We'll probably be there for two days, and of course driving there takes quite a while as we're so far north, so expect me to be gone for four days - I shan't be bringing my laptop with me. Anyway, when I have a better idea of what days I'll be gone, I'll be sure to mention it.
