The sunlight woke me up this morning. I stared at my alarm clock a while, thinking, "Why hasn't it gone off yet?". Turns out I'd set it for 8:30 PM. Duuuuurrrr. I'm so brilliant, you guys. *facepalm*

Today is going to be
-Laundry
-Light cleaning
-School work

And I definitely want to go for a walk before lunch. Need to get on that. Maybe take some time to update the index today too....

Also, a new store opened on my street. "The Better Good" it's called; it's a fair-trade store. I was walking by it the other day when heading down to the grocery to get some dark chocolate for my headache. Might pop in there and see what's what. Just for snooping's sake.
Uhhh. Derp. I feel like I could have spent last night being a lot more productive than I actually was. Curse various things, mostly my own slackness. I did manage to edit "L'anse aux Memory" a bit more - that'll be updated later. Still needs a bit of tweaking. When the 17th rolls around I'll probably post it up at the main comm.

It sure is bright and sunny out today. Ah, how wonderful!

Thought: When on earth did I become such a Finfag? Then again, this sort of thing comes in something like two-year cycles; seems whenever I get back into metal, I'm obsessed with the Nordic countries again- Never been quite this strong though, hah. Well, no matter - I just wish books weren't so difficult to find, hmmm....

This song makes me want to write about the Cudgel War. Goddamnit, I need to stop getting fanfiction ideas from everything. But at least this song will take up some space in the history-oriented FST I'm making. I have a lot of stuff for the early medieval period, and a lot of stuff for the Winter War and afterward, but not so much for the huge chunk of space in between. It's hard to find stuff to use that isn't just... angst. Or the same bands over and over. If I didn't care, half this thing would be Nightwish, and the other half would be Goo Goo Dolls. Pffffffff. That's all I've been listening to lately. Oh, and Kamelot, but I'm always up for Kamelot. Mmm.

Anyway. Argh, I have no motivation whatsoever! This sucks donkey balls.

I called my mum today, and she talked my ear off for an hour or so. Lovely. Not exactly thrilled by that, but anyway. Turns out my brother is taking her for supper tonight. Good - he's finally acting like a proper son. Hmph.

Oh la, I feel so dazed and, I don't even know, man. WTF is up with me lately. I feel all right, but, hmm. Maybe it's the lack of routine, or contact, or something. Or maybe I just need MOAR COFFEE. ... No, that's probably not it, though I like to think so.

When I went downstairs to do laundry today I found the walls had been knocked in, and the storage rooms entirely removed. So, I was right that they're rebuilding them. It's a pain in the ass though - all that construction is going on right underneath my apartment. :| So I shall be putting up with quite a bit more noise in the near future.

I discovered today that I have a far larger audience than I originally thought. It's baffling, but it does make me incredibly happy to know that even the fics I only post in my journal get read by others than those who usually comment on 'em. ;)
